Relay for Life continues to be a charity we wholeheartedly support. It’s a special event with a fantastic vibe.
This year we were asked to play leading into the candle lighting ceremony, which is such an important part of the night. We thought carefully about our song choices and decided to finish with Brooke Fraser’s Deciphering Me, a song we considered thoroughly appropriate for the occasion. We loved performing it and, like so many others there, we had departed friends on our minds at the time. It was a fitting tribute to those having a candle lit in their memory.
Thank you to everyone involved over the weekend. You are an amazing bunch of people who come together to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones, and fight back against cancer. We are always humbled by your strength and determination. It’s a privilege to entertain you.
