UPDATE (29 Sep 2017): When you’re booked for outside events in Spring, you’re always going to be at the mercy of the weather . That’s what we’ve been faced with this weekend: a dodgy weather forecast and no wet weather alternative venue. We wish it was different, but it isn’t, and we’ve had to make the decision to withdraw from Red Nose Family Fun Day. Please note that as far as we are aware the other activities being held in The Square tomorrow are going ahead as planned.
This decision does not reflect a withdrawal of support for the organisation or the event; it is a practicality based upon the need to safeguard our equipment and our team in unpredictable, fast-changing weather. Red Nose Family Fun Day continues to have our very best wishes
We’re delighted to continue our support for Red Nose Family Fun Day, which will have The Square buzzing on Saturday. 30 September.
We’re providing live entertainment between 11:00am-midday, and closing out the afternoon from 1:45pm. There’ll be other talented Palmy folk doing their thing and lots of activities available for the whole family. It’s sure to be a great day out.
All proceeds raised go to Cure Kids, a charitable organisation funding medical research into childhood diseases and illnesses.
Keep your fingers crossed for fine weather, Palmy. This is an event not to be missed!
