It’s Red Nose Weekend and we’re helping turn Palmy Red at the Red Nose Family Fun Day this Sunday, 23 August, at the Ashhurst Domain.
This fundraiser supports Cure Kids, a charity raising money for research into child related illnesses. It’s also a chance to celebrate the amazing resilience of the children who live with chronic illness.
The fun kicks off at 11:00 am with plenty of stalls and games to keep you occupied until the Red Walk at 12:00 noon. If you haven’t already registered for the Walk, there’s still time to do so here. The registration fee is a donation straight to Cure Kids.
Be sure to bring plenty of gold coins, too, so you can get involved in all the activities. There will be lots to do.
We’ll be providing entertainment from 1:15 pm, starting with a Swagger Like Jagger competition after the Red Walk. It’s free to enter this competition and Dean McKerras will be judging the best swagger. The prize is a term of Hip Hop classes at the Dean McKerras School of Dance, valued at $115.
Come on down. We’d love to see you and your best Mick Jagger rooster strut.
Let’s get REDiculous to cure kids. See you Sunday!
